Overview
Aberdare National Park is the second highest ground in Central Kenya, it is believed to be God’s abode when He was not on Mount Kenya.
The park is a major water catchment area and has many waterfalls the three major being Chania falls, Magura falls and the highest waterfalls in Kenya, the magnificent Karuru falls.
It was while vacationing at the Treetops lodge in the park that Princess Elizabeth of Great Britain learned her father had died, thus making her Queen Elizabeth.
