lion Samburu National reserve

Samburu National Reserve is located in Northern Kenya. It is a premier game reserve situated on the banks of the Ewaso Ng’iro river. It is home to the rare northern special five species which are Grevy zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and the beisa oryx. The reserve host a population of about 900 elephants. Other large predators like Lion, Leopard and Cheetah,wild dogs, Grant gazelles, Impalas, Waterbucks, Dik-diks, Hippos, Olive Baboons, Warthogs and over 450 bird species are many in the reserve (Kamunyak the famous Lioness that adapted a baby Oryx is a resident in the reserve).
