If you arrive early, you can opt for a guided excursion to Arusha National Park, offering a gentle introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife. It is a 2 hours drive from Arusha to Arusha National Park.

Arusha National Park has a mix of different habitats like swamps, grasslands, and forests. Mount Meru's slopes are covered in rainforests, and the park is home to beautiful animals like black-and-white colobus monkeys and flamingos at Momella Lake.

Many animals and birds, including flamingos, are drawn to this special environment. A walking safari allows you to see these animals up close. A surreal experience indeed

Dinner and overnight stay at Gran Melia Arusha

After breakfast at the hotel and a short safari briefing, our driver-guide will drive you to Tarangire National Park, about 1.5 hours from Arusha, for a full-day game drive in the park.Along the way you will learn about the history and culture of Arusha and the Maasai people.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its biodiversity including, large elephant herds, consisting of a diversity of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna with the Tarangire River wending its way through the parklands. You may have the experience of seeing a lion stalking his prey or leopards watching whilst relaxing in the trees above.

In the afternoon you will enjoy your packed lunch inside the park. After lunch, continue with a game drive until the evening when you'll drive to the camp for dinner and your overnight stay at the lodge. The park is located slightly off the main safari route. Tarangire National Park is a lovely quiet park in Northern Tanzania that is most famous for its elephant migration, birding and quiet authentic safari atmosphere.

Dinner and overnight stay at Kitela Lodge

After breakfast, we'll set out and begin our full-day wildlife drive. We will drive to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for wildlife viewing and to explore the Serengeti's stunning surroundings and look for the Big 5.

After that spectacular morning game drive, we'll go back to the campsite for lunch before leaving for yet another spectacular late afternoon game drive.

Serengeti is home to more than just huge creatures. Over 500 different bird species have been identified, from the enormous ostrich and strange secretary bird of the open grassland to the black eagles that swoop gracefully over the savannah. That's what makes this wildlife "sanctuary" magical.

Serengeti is an extremely large and wild game park. Nearly 15000 sq km, this park is truly “the endless plains” as it is known by nomadic Maasai who are found here. It is the home of the Big Five “lion, leopard, bush elephant, African buffalo, and black rhino”. It is also famous for with annual migration and beautiful landscapes. This park is a treat to visit not just for animals but also for its vast and varied species. We will then drive back to the camp for dinner and over night stay.

Dinner and over night stay at Four Seasons Safari Lodge

Have an early breakfast at the lodge then depart and drive to Ngorongoro Crater for the game drive in the crater. In the afternoon, you will have picnic lunch.

After lunch, continue with a game drive until late in the afternoon.
The jewel in Ngorongoro's crown is a deep, volcanic crater the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20km across, 600 meters deep and 300sq km in area. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtaking natural wonder. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here.

Later in the evening, you will drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Dinner and an overnight stay at Acacia Farm Lodge

After breakfast, we will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This relatively small but diverse park, 120 kilometers west of Arusha, is named for the shallow salt lake that covers a large park area. The park floods and dries with the seasons and is home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species. On our exploration of the park, we will see monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalos, elephants, and, with some luck, lions lounging in the trees.

The park is known for its diverse landscapes, open grassy plains, primate-filled woodlands, and baobab-dotted cliffs. Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. More than 400 species have been recorded and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day. The inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favoured haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. After lunch, we will return to Arusha, then proceed to Zanzibar (Stone Town).

Dinner and an overnight stay at Nungwi Dreams by Mantis

Day 06 :
Zanzibar

After breakfast, engage in beach activities. Zanzibar Island's northernmost tip was once best known as a dhow-building center. Today, it's a major tourist destination, partly thanks to the beautiful beach and stunning sunsets. Diving, snorkeling, fishing, and other watersports are the main attractions here. From Nungwi, frequented dive sites are mainly down the east coast or to Mnemba Island and reefs near Tumbatu Island. For swimmers, Nungwi's local geography and tidal pattern mean that swimming is possible anytime. Other activities available include yoga, cycling, and guided tours of the village. Your driver will transfer you to the airport in the evening for your flight back to your country.
